You are of the Periti. Everything in the room, including you, uses its own localized gravity to traverse any surface. Limbs combine into bodies, attacks strip away limbs and clear the cella.

UP is DOWN

Walk on any wall as six different types of vermes spawn from nidi. Vermes combine into Nodi, which themselves combine and grow. The combination of vermes determines the nodi attributes. Some are faster, some see farther, some have other abilities. Absorbing vermes will grow and modify your scindo attack while preventing yet another nodus from forming. This prototype is in no way balanced for meaningful gameplay. This is more of a technical demo for testing that certain things actually work. The prototype is fun and interesting enough that we're releasing a very early version.

LEFT is UP

Vermis is a much larger project than what is seen here. Many core features are complete and some are working, but many others are not. In this prototype, you can test various cella generation methods (room transitions), you can create and clear vermes and nidi. All hotkeys are displayed on-screen and a complete parameter debug menu is available. WASD movement, mouse look, buttons trigger scindo attack. Strip vermes from nodi. Uncollected vermes will form or join nodi. It all gets out of hand pretty quickly and might not make much sense, but it represents major milestones in early development.
